LCL(Less than Container Load) means a term used when goods do not completely occupy an entire container. When many shippers?goods occupy a single container, each shipper's shipment is considered to be LCL.
The LCL service will involve the shipper dealing directly with the shipping line and will at all times involve a master sea freight document ?such as a Bill of Lading. LCL consists of direct and indirect service. Transit days take long and charges cost high in indirect service of LCL due to the different loading of destination. Now Shanghai Office is offering 5 direct service lines to Italy, UK, NZ, Spain, Sydney.
Each line has its advantage. Like SHA-Italy is our golden line, direct service is steady and well promised. Also we use fast vessels to Auckland and New Zealand and it only takes 16days to the destination.
