One World, One Dream
Olympics: One Bridge Connecting China to the World

Once, I read one book describing that there are both physical and intangible walls in the world we are living.Physical walls can be seen everywhere around us in our cities, schools, even yards privately-owned; intangible walls exists, in various regulations and our mind which prevent direct connection between people, like regulations made by one law institute to forbid students from other institutes or universities to borrow books from their library. Walls like this will make us isolated from each other and obstruct our communication. To enhance mutual understanding and share our information, we must tear these walls down and build bridges between each other.
In the realistic world, we build bridges to improve our traffic condition and shorten the distance from one place to another place. Hangzhou Bay Bridge, which was opened to traffic on 1st, May, is a good example. It links Shanghai and Ningbo and makes the two cities closer to each other, and the driving time has been reduced to 2 hours from 4 hours. The bridge will bring Yangtze Rover Delta Region long-term economic benefit.
Olympics in Beijing will definitely be regarded as one huge intangible bridge connecting China and the other countries all over the world."One world, one Dream" people from five continents will compete and perform at one stage to promote our friendship, and improve our mutual understanding. We are not athletes and can't participate the games, however, we can do our part in the daily life and make ourselves open, polite, virtuous.
May more and more bridges come out in the world!
May all the separated hearts can be connected with each other by bridges!
