To be watertight
Iron ores are holding by traders because of the rumor which
the price of iron ore will highly increase. Therefore, the
phenomenon which causes great numbers of iron ores accumulating
in the harbor not only pushes up the ocean freight, but also
does no good to Sino-Australia iron ore negotiation. From
Jun 1st, stocking fees are increased twice to relax the pressure
of harbor.
Expensive scanning
To anti-terrorism, America requires scanning 100 percent of
the containers at 700 ports around the world. Ports of HK,
Pakistan, Honduras, GB, Amman, Singapore and Korea will be
the test point firstly. Opponents thought this measure will
cause posts congestion and strongly beat the business in small
harbors. EU pointed that traders are paying for American security
and actually it's a unilateral action.
