Once again RIF Worldwide has been presented with service excellence awards by the UK freight forwarding governing body, BIFA (British International Freight Association). January 2009 saw them collect 2 more of these highly coveted awards for service excellence in both Airfreight and Seafreight award categories, a feat that many companies never manage.
In fact, RIF Worldwide has won more service excellence awards from BIFA in the last 5 years (9 in total) than any of their competitors. Speaking about the latest awards, Scott Sully, Managing Director of RIF Worldwide, said: ¡°Firstly, it should now be crystal clear to all companies that have international freight requirements that the top quality service we provide is not a passing phase. It is permanent. Secondly, our ability to be recognised for service excellence in multiple categories reflects our ability to provide service excellence in multiple service modes, namely air and sea. RIF Glasgow Opens for Business!
Monday March 2nd 2009 saw the opening of RIF Glasgow, the 5th UK branch office for RIF Worldwide. This latest development will enable clients located in Scotland to take advantage of the multiple-award winning services RIF has on offer.
Located in Paisley, close to Glasgow airport, the new office will provide the same comprehensive portfolio of international logistics services on offer at all RIF Worldwide offices ¨C import/export via air/ocean, worldwide courier services, customs clearances at all major ports/airports, duty consultancy and warehousing & distribution services.
The new branch office will be jointly run by David Woodall and Russell MacGilvray, who bring with them many years experience of the local market.
Speaking about the opening, David Woodall said: ¡°There is a definite gap in the market in Scotland for a company to provide innovative solutions and I think we have a powerful combination of services and skills that can fill that gap.
